Can 'O' Dates!!

Sugardoodle recently highlighted this idea on her Facebook Fan Page...which I thought was PERFECT for our blog!

My Creative Stirrings came up with THIS fun idea:

A "Can 'O Dates"!!

She uses this as a wedding present for newlyweds & fills it with 36 date ideas.  She also adds in "extras" that goes along with the dates.  How fun would this be to do with your spouse?  This would be great for the date nights that creep up on you really fast OR when you just can't think of something to do!  She includes those 36 ideas on her blog.  You can copy & paste them into a Word document, print, & cut!  :)

Click HERE to be sent to her creative post.  Make sure to leave her some "comment love"!!

  1. I did this for my best friend who got married a few weeks ago and used her wedding colors to decorate. It turned out so cute and she and her husband both loved it!

  2. My hubby and I did something similar to this recently. I had a miscarriage earlier this year and it had put a real strain on our marriage, to the point that we were really struggling to keep it together. We just had a long weekend (Queen's birthday) and decided to spend the entire weekend having as many mini-dates as we could in the three days. As one of our activities, we decided to make a 'love language jar'. We each had a jar and dozens of little slips of paper to write on. We had to fill our jars with things we wanted the other person to do for us/with us as a way of loving each other in the way we each receive love. We made a commitment to do at least one or more thing from the other persons jar each week, and we were allowed to keep adding to our jars as well. Just the act of working on this little project together, coupled with three days of endless mini-dates, has already brought us back closer together. We are always looking for new date ideas and ways to love on each other, so I really appreciate websites like these that really focus on the important things like strengthening marriage relationships. Thanks for all your hard work. Keep it up :) Blessings!
